The association:

Enables real estate representatives to incorporate Greenrealestate™
principles into their practices,
- Provides Real estate representatives with the knowledge and
awareness of Greenrealestate™ building principles applied in
residential, commercial projects, developments and communities so
that they can list, market and manage green properties as well as
guide buyers in purchasing and leasing green homes and buildings,
- Develops and provides superior educational opportunities that
enhance professional Greenrealestate™ competency and ensures that
real estate representatives are up to speed with the latest green
information and trends,

Encourages real estate representatives to be advocates in
spreading the Greenrealestate™ philosophy and be a positive force
in creating sustainable and energy efficient residential,
commercial and industrial communities,
- Provides ongoing information, tools, and support regarding green
building features, thus enabling members to be leaders in their
market places,
- Support members efforts with referrals, marketing programs and
materials to help real estate representatives communicate with
buyers and sellers the Greenrealestate™ options that are available
to them,
- Provide designations and standards to ensure that members are
properly trained (Accredited Green Agent™ (AGA™) & Accredited
Green Broker™ (AGB™).
- Establish out-reach programs to help engage in environmental
conservation and energy related public policy related to
residential and commercial real estate,
- Protects the integrity of the Accredited
Greenagent™ (AGA™)
or Accredited Greenbroker™ (AGB™) designation and its legitimate
holders through the effective use of enforcement actions against
improper use of designation, including all proprietary marks,
- Utilize existing Realtor networks and infrastructure through
National, State, Provincial, City Boards and Associations to
promote the Mission of the National Association Of Green Agents
and Brokers (NAGAB),
- Maintain an ethical environment above reproach.
